Yesterday was quite a nice day. Mum and Dad arrived as we were bringing a trolley full of wood back with Alex riding high on top, so that was him happy. We spent another day gardening, this time digging artichokes and I had a play with Mum's Rotavator. It does a good job but its hell on the shoulders. The first one was a shambles as it was a 1st for both of us, then I swapped partners and we visited an old lady she knew anyway, as a local housing officer. Alex has taken to randomly giving people big hugs, cute, but a little confusing. He tried to give Paul Brown his drink before hugging him.

Fi Fi the V-1 looked amazing, though I never did see it fire! Neil the German co-ordinator is firmly blaming me for it, and has asked not to have any more bright ideas as that one took 2 years to come to fruition. We didn't get the new car yesterday, they had it down as being delivered yesterday, not Tuesday, which isn't what our paperwork says.
